Construction of new corporate premises for BRB LAC has started
30 March 2021

On behalf of BRB International, developer De Boer Vastgoed is establishing a new office, production and warehouse, which is located along the A2 and A73 highway in Echt, the Netherlands. The construction of the new office and production location for BRB’s business unit Lube oil Additives & Chemicals (BRB LAC) officially started this month.

The new premises for BRB LAC will be located 12 km south from its current location in Ittervoort. The other BRB business unit Silicones will stay in Ittervoort.

By operating from 2 different sites in the Netherlands, BRB LAC growth aspirations can be met. A new designed Petrolad® production installation that meets the market’s latest stringent production and quality requirements will be installed. Furthermore, new Coolant storage capacity will be installed to meet the latest legislation.

BRB’s business unit Silicones will benefit from the relocation of BRB LAC since it will enable Silicones to further grow the production of specialty emulsions in Ittervoort. Moreover, operating from 2 different sites will increase the space for operation to create an improved safety situation.

BRB a susidiary of PETRONAS Chemicals Group

BRB International BV is a dynamic and innovative company, providing technology solutions in the Silicones, Lube oil Additives and Chemicals space. In September 2019, PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad (PCG), one of the largest integrated chemicals producers in Southeast Asia, acquired Da Vinci Group BV, widely known as BRB. With this acquisition, BRB’s business units Silicones, Lube Oil Additives and Chemicals are the new segments that PCG has entered as part of its step-out strategy to pursue growth in specialty chemicals.
