BRB launches new silicone antifoam Akasil® Antifoam 2107 and 7107

Akasil® Antifoam 2107 and 7107 are aromatic solvent based silicone antifoams with respectively active content of 30% and 20%. These are highly effective solvent based antifoam specifically designed for defoaming applications in refinery operations.
Akasil® Antifoam 2107 and 7107 have an effective foam control record at low concentration in the following applications:- Gas oil separation, Crude oil distillation and Delayed coking. It offers the following features:-
• Provides defoaming in chemical and petrochemical processes. • Foaming medium - solvent. • Specifically suited for oil and gas applications (especially at high gas/oil ratio).
