BRB Siloen®882 is an Alkyl modified Siloxane Oligomer mainly intended as water repellent liquid admixture for in plant treatment of cement and fiber reinforced cement board as well as Autoclaved Lightweight Cement (ALC).
BRB Siloen® 882 reduces the capillarity water absorption of the construction materials. It is not water thinnable and must be added under high shear directly into the cement slurry.
Depending on the required performances, BRB Siloen® 882 is added in a ratio ranging from 0.1% up to 0.5% by weight calculated on the overall solid content of the cement formulation.
